Our first fundraiser project is this 1941 Ford Pickup. The plan is to restore and finish it in a bomber theme, complete with shark teeth on the front and the pinup girl on the tailgate. We have modeled the 1941 Ford after the Douglas A20J Havoc Light Bomber "Mamma Lou", honoring WWII veteran George V. Fritton. George the gunner on "Mamma Lou", is the inspiration for the build. Mr. Fritton is the late Father in Law of American Warrior Garage (AWG) team member Chris Schafer.
We were working with our sponsors to get this project done by June 2020 and taking it on the Hot Rod Power Tour but with the current events taking place, we a working towards doing this next year instead.
